OK tonight we went to Madam Janette's for dinner. Well what can I say on this review! hmmm it was good, but very heavy, I had chicken cordon bleu, David had skirt steak, two glasses of wine and two martini's no desert or appetizers $116. with tip, not bad, most of it is outside so if it rains good luck, got several bites on legs and feet, should have used bug spray. Service was good. Hard to get reservations there but noticed empty tables which always makes me nuts when I can't get a table and then go and see empty tables, there of course is logic to this in the restaurant business and I'm not in it so it makes no sense to me as you can see in the picture empty table which remained empty the whole time we were there but it was 6:00 or 9:00 now why we couldn't have had 6:30 is a mystery to me! Now these reviews are for David and Bonnie's wedding so if you're all bored sorry about that all two of you looking at my boring blog. I did however get menu and assorted other stuff you will need should you pick this spot for your dinner, you have to make reservations 1 month in advance as I'm sure that empty table will be full LMAO! I'm not being nice but I'm stuffed and I'm blaming them not me for eating too much :-( unfortunately I am limited on what I can eat with allergies etc., so I will give you the menu and you decide. I know of another Italian place I went one time that we liked very much I hope to go before we leave and see how that is and get the 411 there so many places so little time. Honest to God I've never been so lazy on any of my vacations as I have this time, but the back is really killing me and I have to make an appt. at the pain clinic when I get home but enough of that foolishness anyway my phone is screwed up, not sure why and I don't want to come home to the cold or to work, but miss and love you all so that I guess is worth coming home to. If you're reading this Joe I can't wait to see you and Anthony and hear all the cruise stories. Love you all!

Some pictures from Screaming Eagle Last night
This is the screaming Eagle that was my dinner sirloin wrapped in bacon, yum! Hung out today didn't do much, went to lunch at the pool bar with Pat & Joe and then back to our pool. Talking with our friends from New Hampshire and Rhode Island, which was interesting because they had told us more about the Screaming Eagle. I have always found it interesting that as lovely as it is and the food is always great I'd think it would be standing room only. They do a good business don't get me wrong, but I'd expect cars would be trying to park in our lot here at LaQuinta anyway apparently this is frequented by the very wealthy natives of the Island and visitors from Venezuela, often times the close the place for private parties for them! This is the place where you can have dinner in bed although not many do, some will have cocktails or desert. If you notice in that first picture that is one of the spots "to relax" it all cracks me up, but the place is very pretty, service, food etc., is wonderful as I mentioned before but wanted to post pictures which has been a serious problem with the internet here. I have more but figured quit while I'm ahead. Today ended up a bust because I think I got sun tan lotion in my eyes and nothing was helping so I finally had to lie down and close my eyes. Saw my new "wannabe" friend today (danger, danger) she remembered my name, I hope she doesn't start hanging at the pool thinking that might work! Till tomorrow! cheers!

Restaurant Review!
We went to the Screaming Eagle tonight for dinner, excellent. I told them (not a lie) I was checking out some places for my nephews wedding reception, well I think I must use that in the future for every restaurant I go into they couldn't have been nicer, got free desert! Keep in mind that we've been there before and the food has always been great, service wonderful, etc., but wanted to make sure everything was still up to snuff for the two of us with the tip dinner 2 drinks just under $120.00 not bad for the Islands! David had rack of Lamb I had Sirloin wrapped in bacon, both excellent. We met some people from L.A., that had a son living in Mefa (otherwise known as Medford) very nice I took pictures of them and their food too, not sure why but what the hell. Gorgeous day today. Of course those of you (what 2 of you are following this LOL) that know me know my personality so I say hi to canned vegatables so I see a couple women "hi did you go to the beach, how was it" apparently my mistake! the poor (younger one) I gather thinks she made a friend and decides to come over to talk to me tonight now we all know I can carry most of the conversation for the better part of an evening but I need a little feed back, not so much! she was with her mother and I think she desperately wanted a friend but really didn't have a whole lot to offer back in conversation, seriously how many questions can even I ASK and believe there are many! As we all know. I think she wanted to go to dinner with us one night but seriously would have been far toooooooo painful for even me! I only know I miss Joe & Anthony! How the hell am I going to move to FL for 6 or 7 months of the year without my boys????
Sun Finally came out
Felt like I was at Camp Granada for a while there! But the sun finally came out and it was nice and warm yesterday and everything is right with the world!
Went to Divi Tamarijan to check out the Wedding digs for Bonnie & David trying to upload pictures but this internet connection isn't great so when I finish writing I'll give it another shot. Met with Jackie and another women long and short of it there are 3 different spots they use I believe I got a picture of where it will happen. Hurricane Thomas may not have hit Aruba but the ocean is crazy and washed away a lot of the beach down that end. Not so much where I am but far too rough to go in the water, even for the strongest of swimmers.
Funny thing happened on the way back, we went to the bus stop and a couple probably in their forties asked us if we were staying there and I said no just checking it out for a wedding they were staying at the Westin, which is way up the other end of the Island, I said Oh I stayed up that end one time, didn't care for it because it's too far from everything and they agreed and wanted to switch hotels, so they were saying how much they love Aruba and David tells them they should buy a time-share on a re-sale not buy it directly from the place cause it's way too much money, so I said yes in fact you should buy it from me I have a week I'm selling. Long and short he wanted my email etc., they might be interested in buying it from me. Who would think I'd be able to possibly sell my time-share at a bus stop in Aruba? Hope to go to the Screaming Eagle for dinner tonight to see if that's still as good as it's been in the past will take pictures there too and give my wedding reception review tomorrow or later tonight, internet connection permitting! Cheers!

Glad we weren't here last week
Guess "Thomas" brought his share of problems to Aruba last week, a lot of rain, we brought the sunshine with us, Thank You Jesus! I guess they haven't been able to use the beach at all week, 10' waves big under toe so not sure I'll get in the ocean this week but heat and pool will have to do! Not nearly as warm as usual, although it's certainly not sweater weather by any means I'm going to try to upload a picture a picture to show all the water near the pool from all the rain. So nice to see old familiar faces, I do enjoy this about the time-share that you see the same people (and some new faces) each year. I do love it here. R & R!
Finally Here
Arrived safe and sound. Unpacked, poured a glass of wine and heading for the pool. Flight was pretty decent, with the exception of a little bit but nothing horrible. A little longer than usual because of "Thomas" had to fly over land rather than the water, saw a few cute movies, blah, blah! Exciting so far! Met friends from years past at the airport while at the Duty Free buying booze, they're here every year too. Others are in the pool, David is blowing up the floats as I speak. Life doesn't get much better. Not as hot as it was last year, although warm. Hope I have some exciting stories to tell later but doubt that. Cheers!

Start Packing
Well it's only Tuesday but I usually pack the night before and pull what little hair I have left out of my head so I decided this year I'm going to try to be more organized and get started early. I'm going to try also this year not to yell at David (notice I said try!) I want to pack light, I never wear half of what I bring so why bother right! Now the trick will be getting David to understand we don't need the Walkie Talkies! Oh yes some of you may not know about those, but those of you that know David know he loves his gadgets and although I have told him we won't get separated and don't need them I know as I live and breathe they will end up in Aruba along with God only knows what other needless accessories my darling husband can't live without for 9 days! Wish me luck!
